Emrie is playing softball again and is doing a wonderful job. She loves it and is finally making good contact with the ball. Drew is coaching and between the both of them, they are having a ball! Paylie and I enjoy watching Emrie and watching Daddy coach :)

Free Christmas Cards

It is Christmas time again! My house has been decorated for a couple weeks now, gifts are being bought and slowly wrapped and the next best thing is Christmas Cards!

Family Pictures

We finally got family pictures taken. One of our friends took them in West Columbia, it was the hottest day of the year so far and we were out there at 3:00 in the afternoon taking pictures. Crazy-but they turned out great!

Our summer has been pretty low key, Emrie went and stayed with my mom for a week, we went to God's Country (College Station) for July 4th weekend, the girls and I have gone to our neighborhood pool alot, Drew has been gone alot of the summer, working so haven't really taken the boat out, but I'm making plans for Labor Day weekend ! :)

Happy 1st Birthday PAYLIE!

Our sweet baby girl turned ONE on June 12th! We had a cupcake party and had lots of family and friends over. Paylie had so much fun, she is such a trooper!

This last year has flown by! Paylie is such a sweet heart and so special. She is always happy and loves her sister so much. She is standing up by not taking any steps, and she is chatting a lot. She says Da Da and Bubba (our dog Duke)

I can't wait to see what this year has in store for Miss Paylie Poo. We love her so much.

Play Time!

The other day I hear "Paylie, listen up, pay attention!" I walked in the girls playroom and this is what I found.....

SOFTBALL!

Emrie's softball is keeping us SOOOO busy! We have games during the week, on the weekends and it feels like when we don't have games we are practicing. Pearland Girls Softball is serious business! Emrie is having a great time. She is the youngest on the team and well, lets say the least experienced :)

But she is having fun and right now that is all that matters. She plays catcher for the most part and right field. She could use a little work on her batting. But like I said she is having a blast and enjoys the girls and friends she has made on her team. Lady Bears!

3-13-10

Mom and Frank got married on such a beautiful day. The weather was gorgeous and so was the bride. My sister Jennifer and I were bridesmaids and Franks children Frankie and Cheri stood on his side. Emrie and Franks granddaughter Lexy were flowergirls. The ceremony was great and perfect and the reception was fun and entertaining. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and growing love.

I love my babies......

Sometimes I feel like I get caught up in life's daily adventures and things are so hectic. Emrie started playing softball and has practice 3 times a week and now will have games on Saturdays. We have weddings coming up, so much to do......

Drew and I joined a gym so we have to get our workout on :)

so much to do so little time!

But as I stop and think about the things in life that do matter, its about spending quality time with my girls, letting them both know how much I love them and love spending time with them, giving them the attention they need, helping Emrie with her homework, rocking baby Paylie to sleep and have her cuddle up in my arms.
