I am officially done with maternity leave. It has been wonderful to be home with my little girls for 9 weeks. It was so much fun sleeping in and just playing and hanging out and not worrying about anything but my precious family.
I am very thankful to have a job, but I really want to stay home and be able to bond with Emrie and Paylie. "A couple more years," Drew says.
So back at the office this morning. 7:30am, my desk piled high with invoices, faxes, etc that have built up for 2 1/2 months. 46 voice mails on my phone, and over 1000 emails!! Love it :) Not really!

Oh Patti, just reading that makes me tired. But wait, how did you sleep in??? My girls won't allow that, but if I remember right Emrie goes down later so she must sleep in a little too. I'm sorry that's all over.
Going back to such a huge stack of work would be pretty overwhelming for me, good luck getting through all of it. Maybe it's enough to make you want to have another baby to get out of it :).
You know I'm kidding.
What a hard situation for you, I hope you find a happy balance. Good luck!
